The Dorset Lupus Group has members who are resident in the county of Dorset, and has members in Christchurch, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Ferndown, Poole, Gillingham, Sherborne, Weymouth, Wimborne and many other locations across the county or close to it. We also encourage and welcome members from neighbouring groups.

Our purpose is to give a local focal point to sufferers of lupus, their friends, family and all those giving support.

We hold regular meetings and events and publish a quarterly Newsletter. We also aim to keep our members informed and educated about lupus and the latest developments in its treatment etc, and to this end we try to have interesting speakers at many of our meetings and also maintain a library of books, leaflets, etc for people to borrow and read. The various Links here on our website are also a valuable, and extensive, source of further information and many of them are updated on a regular basis - daily in some cases so keep checking frequently!

Our Group is also actively involved in fundraising, both to support local sufferers and to contribute to Lupus UK who sponsor research into the causes and treatment of lupus in all its forms.
